I tried Raising Cane’s for the first time this past week and it was great! I was so excited when I heard one was opening in Gainesville and I can say, anytime I’m in the area, I will stop by. Their sauce is similar to Zaxby’s sauce but the chicken fingers beat Zaxby’s by a landslide, in my opinion of course. Their garlic bread is amazing but it’s a missed opportunity that they use normal buns instead of the garlic bread for the sandwich. I’m not the biggest coleslaw person but I’ll eat it when it’s a part of the meal and it was actually really good. Highly recommend this slice of heaven comfort food.
Always a great meal at Raising Cane's. Service is always fast, food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Even when they get busy, wait times are not long at all. There's a reason I eat here, the chicken is literally the best anywhere. Chick Fil A doesn't hold a candle to the quality and taste of Raising Cane's and you get more food for less money. All the staff deserve the highest praises and in my opinion, they all deserve a substantial raise for their continued hard work and dedication to customer service. Food quality is second to none.
I’ve tried the chicken sandwich and the chicken finger combo and the chicken fingers were definitely way better. The toast it came with was also super good. I didn’t like the coleslaw though. The canes sauce is pretty good but I wish they had more sauce options because the canes sauce is their only one.
The chicken tenders and fries were pretty good but in my opinion Zaxby’s is way better.
The service was good; we got our food fairly quickly and it was hot. One time I went and I was in a rush because my Uber was coming and they prepared my food almost immediately after I ordered which was really nice.
This location has like no parking besides a few street spots right outside the building.
Loved the chicken tenders. First time at Cane's and I wasn't disappointed. Great price for the caniact combo. Enough for two people. Sweet tea was also good. It was a little busy but got my food really fast.
It’s raising canes…enough said. Quick service, simple menu. Dont forget you can sub out your cole slaw for more delicious bread, better value. Go Gators!
Best chicken fingers box combo delicious flavor arr cook right, very friendly employees since you walk through the door, even the ketchup looks fancy in the tray very organized. Best of all the manager even gave me a free hat just because I told him my job promoted them all over Gainesville. Thanks guys. Highly recommended.
I’ve been to Cane’s before. It’s usually great, but the food at this location is extremely disappointing. The coleslaw tasted like chunky water—no salt or pepper or seasoning of any kind. Same for the fries—cold and flavorless other than the taste of whatever cardboard box they came in. The toast was not toasted. The chicken and sauce were solid, but I threw away the rest of my meal, something I never do. Please go elsewhere for good food.
I was really impressed with the service of this restaurant. The food was hot and fresh, and very tasteful. What really blew me away was an employee named Andrew. He was so kind to every guest, he ensured everyone was enjoying their experience. He even went out of his way to BUY me extra sauces out of HIS OWN money! It was something I did not expect, because I would’ve just paid for it myself. We need more thoughtful people like him in the world.
